Your Tasks
- You establish and lead an interdisciplinary research group at ECH (European Campus Hainburg)
- You develop and implement a competitive research agenda aligned with the ECH vision and USTP strategy
- You recruit and supervise a research team, including up to five PhD candidates
- You initiate collaborative research activities with TU Wien https://www.tuwien.at/tch/tch-forschung)) and European alliance partners (http.//eudres.eu, https://eulist.university/)
- You develop demonstrators and real-world pilot applications within AI and sustainability living-lab environments
- You acquire third-party funding following the base-funded build-up phase
- You integrate research results into innovative teaching formats and interdisciplinary study programs
Your offer to us
- Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, environmental informatics, data science, software engineering or related disciplines)
- Strong international research profile and publication record
- Demonstrated ability to develop an original research vision and translate it into a strategic agenda
- Experience in interdisciplinary and applied research environments
- Proven success in acquiring or contributing to competitive research projects
- Leadership potential and interest in building a new research group from the ground up
- Commitment to European collaboration and innovative higher-education formats
- Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written)
